I was sort of a VJ the other day, when Litteraturhuset in Oslo arranged a night in the name of the great writer Kjell Askildsen. I made a keynote show containing illustrations and animations that I screened while actoress Ane Dahl Torp read his novel The Joker on stage. Since I didn't want the visuals to get in the way of the story I focused mostly on atmosphere and the interior of the house in the novel and not on the characters. Artist Shwan Dler Qaradaki was doing the same thing with another of Askildsens great novels. The room was packed, people liked it and I got to meet Askildsen, who seemed to enjoy the whole thing. Given the nature of this show it was a one night only, making it impossible to present it in a right way, but I still wanted to post some of the images here.
